“Be happy, both inside and out.”
Ms. Sara Juneja is the trustee of the IKJ Care Foundation, a homemaker, and a spiritual person. She is quite calm and hospitable. She believes in laying the groundwork to touch as many hearts and lives as possible. Her firm belief in acts of kindness casts a spell on all the people around her and makes them walk the path of humanity. She has always tried to embrace all the ups and downs in her life with humility, and that, according to her, is the hallmark of her lifestyle. Ms. Sara Juneja also has an adventurous spirit. She has the soul of a traveler, which is always on the lookout for something serene and enthralling, be it in terms of being in new lands or being in touch with new faces from all over the world.
Currently, she is residing in Chandigarh with her husband, Mr. Sanjeev Juneja, who is a business tycoon, investor, and philanthropist.
“Expressing gratitude gets us in the habit of paying attention to the things that are going well in our lives.”
According to Ms. Sara Juneja, being bestowed with all the bountiful moments of happiness makes it all the more essential for us to express our gratitude to the universe as much as possible. To her, it is one of the most prized emotions that spring from the soul and create a ripple effect in the world. It involves focusing our attention on the positive aspects of our existence and showing gratitude for what we have. Being grateful involves taking a moment to observe and enjoy the things we frequently take for granted, such as having a place to reside, food, clean water, friends, family, and even access to a computer.
Ms. Sara Juneja is a hodophile to the core. She loves to travel. She believes that traveling takes us out of our comfort zones and inspires us to see, taste, and try new things. She says, “Traveling constantly challenges us, not only to adapt to and explore new surroundings but also to engage with different people, embrace adventures as they come, and share new and meaningful experiences with friends and loved ones.”
Every now and then, she undertakes trips with her family members to see different parts of the world. So far, she has been to London, Switzerland, Dubai, and many other prominent countries in Europe.
Today, India is an empowered, enlightened, and enterprising nation, and Ms. Sara Juneja wishes to make it even more powerful with conscientious, smart, and confident citizens who would make us proud of their multifaceted growth. Being the Director of IKJ Care Foundation, an Ambala-based NGO, she is contributing to the cause by working in the direction of alleviating poverty and social exclusion through education. IKJ Care is one of India’s leading non-profit organizations (NGO). It tries to extend all the necessary assistance, be it by donating 4 ambulances during the COVID pandemic to take needy people to the hospitals, by working in the field of women’s health and hygiene, or by raising awareness of rights amongst people. Ms. Sara Juneja makes every attempt to deftly navigate through crises by treading every issue with caution and sensitivity.
Ms. Sara Juneja prefers to live in reality rather than on social media. In her opinion, the more time we give to our real lives, the happier we are and the more satisfaction we derive from each moment of ours. She says, and I quote, “Face-to-face social interactions with friends, family, and other people promote deeper connections. It boosts our mental health and makes us experience life as it is supposed to be experienced.” Though she certainly cherishes Instagram for the economical and variety-driven shopping experience that it offers.
